Catching Up...

An intensive class covering Hebrew grammar has left me playing "catch up." I have all of these creative ideas in my head, but feel way to swamped to take the time to paint them out on canvas, let alone experiment with some new styles. Here are a few quick pieces that did give me a breather from the stresses of schoolwork this past month:
"The Great Summer Escape"
"Lexington"
"Longing for a Friend"

All of these are available for sale in my Etsy shop.

Saturday's Painting

I painted this picture while I was at the art fair this weekend. It was fun to do a "live demonstration," plus I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. :)

(Please ignore my messy art desk...)

Evolution of a Painting: Ginkgo Leaves

Ginkgo is a leafy tree that is not only beautiful but is also beneficial medically. Its leaves have a certain grace about them. They are a vivid green color during the spring/summer but turn a vibrant gold during the fall. Here is the "evolutionary process" of a painting featuring ginkgo that I painted for a special friend of mine. :)
